  • Food Donations Youth Winter Reading Program: Feed the Need to Read! This winter, read for a good cause and help the New Lenox Township Food Pantry. Donate sealed, non-perishable, non-expired food items to the library to join the reading program. Then, start saving your pennies to donate to our jar! The pennies you donate will be used to purchase more food for the pantry, making a positive impact locally for families in the New Lenox community. The program runs from Dec 27 - Feb 25. See our program guide for more information. Opened and/or expired food WILL NOT be accepted.

  • Having Trouble Placing Holds? There are some instances where placing a hold on an item may not be available. You may be having trouble placing a hold because:
-The library that owns the item does not allow those kinds of items to be placed on hold. These items are usually audio-visual items, like DVDs.
-The library that owns the item belongs to a new library system called the Rivershare Library System. These libraries are located along the Illinois/Iowa border and were part of the same system that New Lenox belongs to, but have decided to break off and form their own system. These libraries' items are still in the catalog until November, but cannot be placed on hold.

  • Pay OnlinePay Online at the Library. Now you can pay for fines and fees online thanks to the Illinois State Treasurer's ePay program. You can also donate money to the library through this site. This is a free program through the State Treasurer that the library is happy to offer residents. When paying fines and fees, go to "My Account" and click on "Review Materials" to pay. More here.
