Prom Exchange

Saturday, April 3, noon-2 pm, Meeting Rooms A & B
Interested in getting some cash for those dresses, purses, shoes, jewelry and more collecting dust in your closet? The New Lenox Library is hosting a “Prom Exchange” Saturday, April 3rd from noon-2 pm. Each seller is limited to 10 items and buyers are encouraged to search the bargains for the best deal! Anything that can be used to suit up for prom is fair game for selling! Sellers MUST pre-register as space is limited.

Eco Baskets ... and more

Thursday, April 15, 4:30 pm, Meeting Rooms A & B
These baskets are sturdy and can be used to hold many things from potted plants to stacks of CDs depending on the size you choose to make. The best part of all, they are “eco friendly” made from recycled magazines. Come join us and make and take a basket or two!

New Lenox Idol

Saturday, May 1, 1 pm – 3 pm, Meeting Rooms A & B
Are YOU the next NEW LENOX IDOL? Once again, the library will host the 4th annual New Lenox Idol contest. The singing competition is open to contestants aged 13 and up. Karaoke CD or instrumental only track must be provided by contestants at least 2 days in advance of the competition. The audience votes for the winners so be sure to tell friends and family to come show their support! Prizes will be awarded!
